Audi RS6 Avant GT (2024)

The Audi RS6 Avant GT: The Pinnacle of Performance and Design
The new Audi RS6 Avant GT represents the zenith of the model series, featuring a special edition packed with exclusive details both inside and out.A standout roof-edge spoiler, redesigned diffuser, and unique 22-inch wheels emphasize its premier status within the lineup. Inside, high-quality bucket seats, a fresh color palette, and individual numbering on the center console highlight its exclusivity. Enhancing the driving experience are lightweight, adjustable coilover suspension and a re-engineered quattro sport differential on the rear axle. Under the hood, the twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivers 463 kW (630 PS) and 850 Nm of torque, making for a thrilling ride. The Audi RS6 Avant GT will be available starting in the second quarter of 2024, with prices starting at €219,355.
Inspired by the RS6 GTO Concept
The RS6 Avant GT’s design traces its roots back to the RS6 GTO concept, a project completed by twelve apprentices in 2020. These young talents, specializing in areas like automotive mechanics and vehicle construction, were inspired by the iconic Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO race car from 1989. Their work demonstrated how innovative ideas from apprentices can significantly contribute to the brand's legacy.
A Distinctive Design
The RS6 Avant GT distinguishes itself from other models in the RS6 lineup, including the RS6 Avant and RS6 Avant Performance, with a design that takes cues from the RS6 GTO concept. The front end features a high-gloss black Singleframe grille and air intakes, creating a lower, wider stance. Vertical blades on the front apron, a new intake grille, and a robust front splitter add to its aggressive look. Audi Sport GmbH has, for the first time, introduced a fully redesigned hood made from carbon fiber, creating a striking visual contrast with the body color. Air outlets behind the 22-inch wheels reduce pressure in the wheel arches and improve brake cooling. Like the hood, the fenders are also crafted from carbon fiber, highlighting both the vehicle's performance and Audi’s production expertise.
The side profile is accentuated by carbon fiber inserts in the side skirts and mirror covers, while the rear features black "RS6 GT" badging, a specially designed tailgate, a functional diffuser, and a distinctive double wing inspired by motorsport, all of which were nearly identical to the original concept car. For the first time, the RS6 Avant GT is designed without roof rails, further enhancing its sleek, sporty silhouette.
Customers can choose from exclusive decal options in two color schemes. The first, paired with an Arkona White finish, incorporates Audi Sport's traditional colors—black, gray, and red—while the second offers black and gray tones with Nardo Gray or Mythos Black exteriors. High-gloss or matte black wheels complement these options, with the four rings and model lettering in black as standard. Exterior colors available include Arkona White, Nardo Gray, Chronos Gray Metallic, Madeira Brown Metallic, and Mythos Black Metallic.
Luxurious Interior
The RS6 Avant GT comes standard with the RS design package plus, which includes a black interior accented by red and copper stitching on the steering wheel, center console, armrests, and floor mats. The new RS bucket seats, featuring a leather-Dinamica combination, are also finished in this color scheme, with Express Red honeycomb stitching and copper accents on the seat’s outer seams. The dashboard, center console, and door panels are upholstered in black Dinamica microfiber, with optional open-pore carbon twill inlays. Crimson red seat belts and individual serial numbering on the center console add to the car's exclusivity.

Next-Level Performance
The Audi RS6 Avant GT boasts an output of 463 kW (630 PS) and 850 Nm of torque, offering 22 kW (30 PS) and 50 Nm more than the RS6 Avant base model. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.3 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in 11.5 seconds, with a top speed of 305 km/h (190 mph). The power is delivered via an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox to Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive system, featuring a newly optimized center differential that enhances driving dynamics and reduces understeer.
The RS6 Avant GT also comes with a specially tuned quattro sport differential on the rear axle for increased agility in dynamic mode. The standard adjustable coilover suspension lowers the ride height by 10 millimeters and provides a balance of comfort and performance. The new Continental "Sport Contact 7" tires ensure improved grip and shorter braking distances, contributing to precise handling across various conditions.
Premium Manufacturing
Unlike the standard RS6 Avant, the RS6 Avant GT is assembled at the Böllinger Höfe facility, where the Audi R8 and e-tron GT are also produced. This specialized facility allows for the meticulous hand-fitting of GT-specific features by a team of seven experienced employees, ensuring each of the 660 units receives the highest level of craftsmanship. Production at Böllinger Höfe is carbon-neutral, using renewable energy sources and offsetting any unavoidable CO2 emissions, contributing to Audi’s Mission:Zero environmental program for sustainable manufacturing.
